Master Jacobs competed this weekend at the Pan-American Haidong Gumdo Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event included the very best in North, Central, and South America, as well as Korea, competing in various sword events. Forms, test cutting, and even sword dance were some of the events featured. Seminars and belt rank testing also took place. Master Jacobs performed as part of the official demonstration team, and won the 1st place champion gold medal in bamboo cutting. He comes back to Blue Mountain Martial Arts with renewed enthusiasm for inspiring the very best in Korean style swordsmanship. Excellence…for its own sake! Haidong!
